Volunteers For Special Liver Flush

G'Day from hot Perth - welcome to Day 9

Just one day and you have completed the 10 days - well done .

However:

If you are feeling really good why not continue on for as long as you wish.  Suggested times are 14 or 20 days for those who chose.

Now is the time to start planning for the future. If you want to go on with this diet for another 2- 5-10 or 20 days don’t stop. However - Use wisdom and monitor how you are feeling and press on only if you feel good and desire to continue. For those who are looking forward to adding other foods after day 10, enjoy.
  • Please email me if you are continuing on and i will support this group until they are completed.
Remember you can undertake this diet as often as you desire and whenever you choose.
I will be encouraging everyone to keep the momentum going, so you can reach your goals and I will be offering step by step support to  help you achieve just that.
Tomorrow i will discuss more on this subject so you can have a plan to continue on with  and not just stop at the end of 10 days.

Liver Flush?

I am going to finish the 10 days by doing a specific Detox for flushing my liver.
The purpose of this protocol is to detox the body through the liver and bowel. It will also flush the gall bladder, expelling any accumulated matter, including stones and pre-stone sludge, composed of stagnant bile and cholesterol (toxins).
Sometimes the bile ducts are full of cholesterol crystals that did not form into round stones. When you eliminate these out of your body – as you can imagine you will feel so much healthier and internally ‘cleaner’. I have personally expelled up to 100 of these small 'stones' and seen other peoples photo evidence of some stones as big as 20 cent pieces and hundreds of others. I do this once a year = now.
this is the perfect time to this flush as you have to do 10 days of diet preparation - before you do the overnight flush.
Volunteers? If you have done the Daniels Diet and wish to know more or do this diet - you will have to contact me by email and i will then give you the specific instructions.

Day 8 of Daniels diet

Good morning,

Pat yourself on the back, its day eight already. Remember the benefits; it’s worth it.
Being in good health all the time is possible, if you learn to change and follow a healthy lifestyle. This diet gives you the key to detoxification and launching into a healthy future. I too pray that you prosper in all things - body, soul and spirit because without health in each of these three areas you cannot enjoy life to its fullest.

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.”   (3 John 1:2)

Satisfy thirst - the natural way?

If You are getting thirsty in the heat - i use coconut water with ice. This is great for re-hydration and contains electrolytes - so a very good drink

Testimony from the previous group Daniels Diet ( expecting similar from this one) ; a 57 year old patient who has just completed the Daniels diet for the first time. She is a stroke victim and i add that to emphasis that any one can do this diet, its never too late or you are never too young or old.

"Lost.....3 k's and 7 cm off my waist!  IT WAS WORTH IT, though I know I'll never be a Vegetarian, Daniel's diet will always be a major part of my life from now on."
 'Oh best of all.'
'I managed to start walking again and where I used to stop for a ten minute sit while I let the dog have a snif/run around then head home....I walked right past the spot by the second day (a minute sit on the first day's walk)  the next day I made it thirty meters past it, then a little bit further....the next I did gardening, and the pain i suffer daily is now less.' Wow i am impressed, all this in just 10 days"

I am astounded but never surprised of the amount of testimonies coming to me of people losing weight. But also of healing testimonies which range from what i would expect as a practitioner to the unexpected and powerful healing and life changing experience that people have.

My day 8;
One major thing i often notice when doing the Daniels Diet is - i notice that i am not hungry or craving anything. my Tummy does not need so much food to fill it up. I feel contented after a veggie juice and some fruit. And i actually have better concentration and work stamina when eating less. The old routine or habits are the challenges as you are then drawn to automatically have your snack of whatever when watching TV or danger times. I just replace that time with some 'allowed' food so i am not wanting to give in to the habit or desire. I find this works well and i enjoy my fruit or nuts much more.
Morning walk as i start work early and have less time.
Millet porridge and green tea - morning tea=  a veggie juice. If i get hungry i have a dip with carrot and celery sticks - allrecipes found in my new recipe book (hint)
Mixed salad for lunch.
Watermelon for afternoon tea - watermelon is one of the best fruit to eat nutritionally wise and is a great diuretic for anyone with fluid retention.
Dinner - simple steamed veggies and brown rice - with one of my dressings from my book to add flavour.

Fruit Breakfast

This group of fruit mix well. Avocado is a neutral food so can mix with sweet or savoury dishes and is optional.

Dish one – a small bowl full of;

Watermelon,  honeydew,   cantaloupe,
1 part papaw (papaya),   ½ avocado

Or…

Dish two- a small bowl full of;

apple, banana, pear,
pineapple,  any berries grapes – with seeds

Try spooning fresh passion fruit juice on top of the fruit. With fruit salad you can choose any 3-4 different fruits.

I encourage you to be inventive and add prunes, flaked almonds, pine nuts, coconut pieces, cinnamon, and various sprouts or seeds.
However there is a limit to nuts consumed during the day so if you add them to fruit salad do not eat as many later.
If it’s more convenient to you because of your busy lifestyle, you can stagger your fruit intake throughout the morning.

Next Blog - i will be asking those who wish to continue on for 14 days or 20 days??Are you ready?

Be blessed

My Secret Breakfast Recipe Revealed

Good morning from Sunny Perth West Australia,

I  have to admit doing Daniels Diet in summer can be a little easier than in winter. Because hot weather makes eating salads easy and a joy. Also the in season fruits are plentiful - from all stone fruits like mangoes, peaches, plums, apricots etc. However in winter  of course we can enjoy soups and curries and peppers more, so it does equate out and allows 'any time' as a good time  to undertake Daniels Diet. Today i give out 2 cold weather (really all weather) recipes.

Foods From God's Garden

What i always notice when on Daniels diet (and hopefully every day), is that you really appreciate God Garden foods, especially fruits. Why do we think that sugary man made foods are nicer that a beautiful mango or strawberry's for dessert. As i chewed (slurped) into a mango last night,  it i could not help but thank God for such a beautiful, sweet food. My thinking at that moment was; 'this fruit is way better tasting than chocolate, candies, cookies etc'. The point is that when you are addicted to a food like chocolate it seems to taste the best ever food ( and yes i have been there in my past) and you think 'it tastes so good,  how can this be harmful'. Yet when you are eating properly or on Daniels Diet our taste and thoughts change, we enjoy the natural foods far more than the processed ones and you feel so much better after eating it as well.
We have a choice;  to keep eating and  enjoying the foods God created or go the man adulterated food way and let our taste buds become perverted to 'harmful'  and addictive foods, that will cause us  to want to eat more and more of them and eventually cause problems sooner or later. Daniels Diet allows you to break the cycle of addictions and food intolerance's. It allows your taste buds to change and enjoy healthy foods.

My secret Breakfast Recipe - Philip's Coconut - Millet  and Berry Porridge.

  1. First i get a pkt of organic millet and cook enough for about 4-5 days. Cooking instruction should be on the pkt. I place it in the fridge.
  2. Breakfast time - I heat some of water and add 1 tablespoon of Quinoa, 1 tablespoon of polenta and 1 tablespoon of diced Coconut. Plus pumpkin and sunflower seeds (can be any seeds). Then as it boils i add in what ever amount of the already cooked millet that i fancy. Stir to the consistency you  like then - add Frozen berries just before you finish cooking to melt the ice off them and stir into porridge just a little to get the flavor into the porridge but not over cook them. All this take less than 5 minutes.
  3. Cooking time is up to you but just enough to make the porridge go a little think. Also you get used to the quantity after one or 2 tries. You can use almond milk if it is pure to make it more creamy.
Enjoy

My Day seven
It is now 10 AM and i am feeling fantastic, clear headed and into finishing this blog.
I had my millet porridge for breaky.
at 11 AM I will eat some fruit and then veggie juice at 11.30.
about 1 or 2 PM i will have a salad.
tonight i will have a curry veggie dish

Chick Pea Curry
Ingredients
1 onion, chopped
1 leek
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp curry paste
Cumin, black pepper, paprika to taste
1 cup vegetable stock
1 cup cooked chick peas
3 large carrots, chopped
1 cup cauliflower pieces
1/3 fresh pineapple pieces
½ cup cashews (mixed with cooked meal)
Preparation Method
Cook together onion, leek and garlic in a little oil or water. Add curry paste and seasonings, cook for 1 minute. Add veggie stock and chick peas, carrots and cauliflower. Simmer till cooked about ½ hour. Then add pineapple pieces, and cashews. Allow to stand for about ½ hour for flavours to mingle.
Serve with Brown Rice. (Rice cooked in turmeric and mixed with cooked lentils is very good.)

Today's scripture:

God…“Who pardons all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases.” (Psalm 103:2)
Have faith that healing and weight loss are taking place inside you right now and more and more every day. No matter how big or small a problem you now have, through Jesus all healing is possible. Keep praying and believing. You are working with Jesus now and not against him (meaning your diet and lifestyle).
You are doing your part to enhance healing to your mind, body and emotions, ask and trust God to do the rest. Remember this diet is based on His Word, The Bible.
have a great and blessed day

Welcome to Day 6.

You are past the half way mark now, beneficial things are happening, whether you are aware of them or not. Take this opportunity to trust God to see you through any healing situation – whether physical, emotional or spiritual. Many people have testified that prayer not only made this diet easier but also made it a profoundly positive experience, so don’t hesitate to pray and rely on God for help.  If you’re feeling like you can’t keep going remember God’s Grace is sufficient for you.

My Day 6:
Many people tell me that during or by the end of doing Daniels Diet they lose the cravings for harmful foods like coffee, alcohol, sugar, chocolate, milk etc
I notice that the less 'junk' food or sugar type foods you eat the less you desire them. And the opposite is true - the more you eat of them the more you desire them. That means the longer the Daniels diet goes on the easier it is to break the hold that these harmful foods have over you. I no longer desire bread for example.
Also when you eat less your tummy shrinks and the less you need to feel full. This is great because your waist line shrinks. One male reader said that after doing this diet he could actually bend over and tie his boot lace's, where he never could before.
Also some people choose to follow the diet for 14 days or 20 days, which i encourage if you are feeling good and wish to do so.
Its all positive - hallelujah
  • this morning i went for a prayer walk, only 20 minutes.
  • Had the lemon in water and veggie juice. Stone fruits is next on the list.
  • Lunch is mixed salads again. i mostly just keep it simple and quick. I wrote the 'Pure and Real Recipe Guide' to give choices for people who want to cook and experiment with foods.
  • fruit and walnuts only for afternoon tea.
  • Baked veggies and salad tonight

Soups – have them as one meal, at any time to fit into your 10 day diet plan.
Soups; Try making up a large pot of soup using the allowed ingredients, then freeze or refrigerate it to create quick meals.

Bread is often served with soups – however I personally never eat bread with soup. The reason being we are better off having less bread in our diet not more. Especially for weight loss and gluten free diets, so none at all on this 10 day plan. Of course the quality of bread does make a big difference and can be used after the 10 days.

Spinach Soup
This soup can be served chunky or pureed
Ingredients
2 bunches spinach, washed and heavy stems taken out
4 large potatoes
4 cups stock, vegetable or chicken
1 cup water
1 onion
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 lemon, juiced
Salt to taste
Cold pressed olive oil
Preparation Method
Brown the onion in oil in a saucepan. Peel and cut the potato into chunks, and add it to the onion and brown. Add stock and water and simmer gently until all is tender. Add the chopped spinach and season to taste. If you wish to puree the soup then now is the time.
Serve with vegetable salad if you want a larger meal..

But His (Jesus) answer was: “My grace is all you need, for My power is greatest when you are weak”. I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weakness, in order to feel the protection of Christ’s power over me.”   (2 Corinthians 12:9 GNB)

Have a great and blessed day

Ancient Wisdom combined with Modern Nutrition

Good morning -  Welcome  to day 5 - we are half way there! And i have to say that the longer you are on the program the easier it gets - i hope that is your case as well.
Ancient Wisdom combined with Modern Nutrition
I have based this diet on the wisdom of Ancient Scriptures and modern day nutrition. This diet bridges the gap between the Bible times and Today and you can benefit from all that wisdom.

Positive Scripture to start the day.
'So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God'. 1 Corinthians 10:31
Each day as we make choices about what to eat, drink or act upon; try to keep God's glorification always before our personal gratification. If we simply go back to the basics in all areas-natural food, pure fresh water, clean air and the unadulterated Word of God-we would be absolutely amazed at what we can achieve...a healthier body, soul and spirit!
This is why Daniels Diet is so successful - because it takes the modern, adulterated, refined, chemical foods out of our diet and gives our internal system a 'holiday' from processing it all the time.
We get back to basics and we 'feel' better and lose weight as a good side affect.

Surviving this Century

Today's lifestyle has added many diseases to the world that are directly related to our modern day eating and drinking habits. Sad, but true! It makes sense, therefore, that to overcome modern day diseases (including overweight) it is necessary to take some “modern” out of the equation and restore certain aspects of our lifestyles to how they were in previous times.
This means getting back to the fundamentals of health; fundamentals that Hippocrates, the recognized founder of modern medicine, recommended. Hippocrates once said, “Let food be your medicine and medicine your food.”
Keep in mind that the majority of the world’s population suffer some form of ill health and I estimate that 70% or more of every illness is caused (or linked) by what you do, or don’t, put in your mouth.
People carry baggage from previous weight loss programs. I have seen this scenario often in my clinic, where people have tried every diet that is available. They have lost some weight but quickly regained it and often added even more afterwards.
I want you to know that I fully understand and empathise. I am here to help, to give answers and set out a series of tailored, step by step, proven effective treatment strategies (plans) that will lead you to long term success. So no matter where you are in the world, with modern technology i can consult with you and help you. Simply contact me. Just yesterday a lady from Greece emailed me for a consultation. Don't suffer in silence or put up with symptoms that can be fixed, you are far to important.

Day 5 in my life.

I feel great today - the detox and partial fast is working. my head is clearer and i feel more energy.
I confess i ate too much of my brown rice Dinner and my body tells me because i could feel it take the edge off my well-being yesterday.  I believe we should always listen to our body  - it will tell you things if you first get healthy and then take notice on how you feel. And yes you can over eat good foods.
Bike ride for 1 hour - its  hot here so i made sure i hydrated and ate as soon as i got back. lots of water (1/2 litre) - fruit - vitamins and veggie juice coming up soon. I found some ones wallet on the river and trying to get there phone number to return it.
Lunch - mixed salad
no nuts today. just fruit and  another veggie juice.
Dinner tonight. Left over Brown rice and veggies - i find brown rice fills me up and is nice with lots of herbs.
Prayer walk with my wife as we pray and give thanks for the day + talk.

Veggie Juice:
Ingredients
1-2 carrots – depending on size
½ raw beetroot (red beets)
1 celery sticks (stems)
1 tablespoon of blue berries (frozen)
1 stem of spinach
Ginger to taste
½ lemon squeezed

Note: your stool (bowel movement) may turn red or dark green due to beetroot (red beet) colour or greens. This is normal and not a health problem and will go away if you stop the juices for a few days.
You may have ‘Detox Symptoms’ from the process of your body eliminating  toxins, if they are too severe, stop for one day and start again with ½ dose. Water it down helps - if needed

have a good day

Daniels Diet Day 4

Good Morning,

I think a great scripture for today is Hebrews 10 v 35 -36. ' therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise'.

I am confident the diet principles of Daniel will help you achieve your goals. Why? Because of the many hundreds of people who have contacted me telling me that this diet has helped them in many ways. Because i have felt the changes to my health so much.

Help to Stay on Track:
Planning your meals in advance and sticking to this plan will keep you accountable of the foods you eat and will help you to stick to your program.
Stick to a shopping list to avoid impulse purchases and purchasing foods that are not on the allowable food list.  Always shop on a full stomach. It is easier to make the right choices when you are not hungry.
Remove as much food as practical from your home that is not on the allowable food list. Remember: “If it’s in front of you it will eventually be eaten”.
Ensure you have a good support network. Tell your friends and family that you are on the program, your reasons and motivations for doing it and how important your goals are to you. Try and get an exercise ‘buddy’.  Ask them to be supportive and not offer you junk foods etc. as it only makes it harder for you. There is a support on my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/danielsdetox?ref=hl

If making meals in advance split into correct serving sizes and refrigerate or freeze immediately
Drinking a large glass of water before your meal will make you feel full and help to avoid over eating.
Learn to say “no” to temptation and “stop” when feeling full. Remember eat slowly and at the table and not in front of TV is wise. Try not to have sweets and cookies in the house. Remove the temptation.

My Day 4.

  • Bike ride along the Swan river for 45 - 50  minutes. I might have overdone it as i feel a little drained of energy after. So i will hydrate and eat fruit to compensate.
  • fruit and veggie juice and some nuts an hour after
  • I will eat large salad for lunch - the trick is to vary your salads and dressings so you don't get bored with same ones.
  • More nuts and seeds and piece of fruit during the afternoon
  • Dinner -brown rice - see below recipe

Red Lentil Salad
Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil 1 clove garlic crushed
2 tsp cumin 1 cup red lentils
1½ cups vegetable stock Juice of 1 lemon
2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped 4 shallot chopped
1 bunch coriander, chopped Pinch of  sea salt and cayenne pepper
¼ cup slivered almonds, toasted

Preparation Method
Heat the oil in a pan; cook the garlic and cumin for 1 minute. Add the lentils and stir to coat in cumin mixture. Stir in vegetable stock and bring to boil. Simmer the lentils, uncovered, stirring often for 10 -15 minutes or until liquid has been absorbed. Allow to cool, then adding remaining ingredients, garnishing with the almonds and serve with mixed lettuce and salads.

Try this for Dinner!

Brown rice pilaf with asparagus
Ingredients
3 cups of cooked brown rice
2 ½ cup of cubed Portobello mushrooms 2 cloves of garlic minced
1 red onion fine chopped

Add the thyme and cooked rice
You may need a little more liquid
Adjust seasoning you may need a little salt
Serve with the almond sprinkled over the Top and a little more thyme

be Blessed for today

There is NO such thing as guilt or failure on this diet

Good morning,

For those who find it difficult and even impossible to follow Daniels diet.

I have received a few private emails from people who love the Daniels Diet plan/book and their desire is to do it - but just cant or they start and after 2- 3 days have to give up. Guilt or depression then often comes into play.

Lets turn this into a positive:

First; You Are Not Alone, there are many people who find it hard to change lifestyles and eating habits. I myself have done Daniels Diet and fasts many many times over the years and occasionally i get 2-3 days into it and for reasons like - work stress, emotional issues, just too hard at the time etc i have given in and gone back on other foods. It doesn't matter - because the wonder of the Diet is that you can do it any time you choose and when you are ready. Its not a race or competition and God will love you 100% whether you finish or not. In fact the Scriptures say He will draw nigh/closer to the hurting and broken hearted.
Other times i have given in to temptation during the diet by eating something that is not in the plan, or have had a wedding to go to- what i do is just add another day or 2 to the 10 days to make up for it - but i don't give in or stop of feel guilty. I like the old saying ' just get back on the bike when you have fallen off"

Second; you are wanting to change and follow a healthy program, that's positive. To me this means if you don't give up and keep your mind focused on doing something about it - eventually you will succeed.

Third; you have reached out for help, this is a big step to success, if you haven't please do so. One of the main reason i am organizing a group Daniels Diet  and coming back into ministry is to help people who find it hard, to get group encouragement and input as it is not easy today with all the modern temptations around us. The facts are 60 - 70% of the population can not sustain a healthy lifestyle.
We all need support and help and Mentors at times like this. Emotional eating is one of the main factors for craving harmful foods and these issues may need addressing either before, after or during the Daniels fast.

Fourth; For those who can not undertake Daniels Diet or those who do not lose much weight or some symptoms are still there after the 10 or 20 days; - use this as a guide or motivator to find out why - your body or mind needs  specific help or adjustments. Seek the answers and you will get them. I have a whole  book series coming up on Amazon and my new web site in the next 2 months for guidance and help, so stick with us.

'There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus'

Day 3! Don't give up

Its worth it! The many hundreds of good news testimonies i receive can not lie. The next day or two for some can be a  struggle. So i encourage you don't give up, it will get easier from here on. Today is the day where withdrawals can manifest. Some people may feel a bit weak or tired,  cravings, dull headaches - these will go away and one of the most common testimonies is that by the end of the 10 days - 'i feel more energy, my brain is clear', 'no more headaches, no more tummy discomfort'  and 'i feel just wonderful'. Then of course is the weight loss.
Philippians 4 v 13 KJV. ' I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.'

My Day;

Bike ride and breathing and stretches on the banks of the swan river.
Millet Porridge with mixed berries and coconut
fruit
Lunch, mixed salad
nuts and fruit
Dinner, brown rice and steamed veggies.
mango for sweets
Prayer walk before bed

The Colors of the Rainbow

Every color in every food type from ‘God’s garden’ have individual or unique biochemical health benefits—that is why I always encourage rainbow salads in all my programs and do include recipes for them in my books.

Philip’s Rainbow Salad
Ingredients
asparagus   celery  snow peas onion
beetroot tomatoes mixed lettuce avocado
walnuts yellow capsicum red/purple cabbage  cauliflower
Preparation Method
Chop or grate whatever amount you need for the meal. Drizzle with a dressing of olive oil, garlic and apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, with a pinch of turmeric and cayenne.
Feel free to make your own combinations.

Salads
Salads are easy to take to work for lunch. They are also a fantastic accompaniment to your evening meal. Dress your salads with either fresh lemon or lime juice or lightly drizzle with extra virgin cold pressed olive oil, or flaxseed oil.

Don't hesitate to email me or comment on my facebook -  if you have any question or comments or need support.
see you tomorrow and God Bless

Philip
