A Daniels Diet Testimony March 2013

hello

I always get a huge Buzz when people send me their testimony after doing Daniels Diet & there are literally hundreds and hundreds of them.

This is another one from USA - be encouraged Daniels Diet does help many people... the only criteria is that you have to 'do it'.

Dear Philip

Here are some of my results from your Daniels Diet diet  . . . and I'm on day 10:

1. My clothes grew - (ha) they are now too big for me
2. I'm not as stressed - (I LOVE this part)
3. I haven't used my APAP machine for 4 nights - no snoring!!  WOW - this is HUGE!!
4. I just plain "feel better" than I have in a long time
5. I have more energy (Who knew?!!)
6. I lost 9 pounds as of this AM (WHAT??????)  YES - I'm shockingly pleased!  (but the scale is still too high!)
7.  I don't miss chocolate as much as I thought I would - another shocker!
8.  Prayer combined with this Diet is a real winner and  is SO important

I read the "Post Diet" section of the book last night again, and yes, I'll start with eggs, and fish, but I'm gonna go another week on Daniels Diet - before I do that cuz I'm so excited with my progress.  Oh, I discovered a hummus (made from garbanzo beans, cilantro, garlic, lemon juice etc). and it's all editable on the diet, and it's SO good, but can't eat too much (a little goes a LONG way) cuz it's HOT!  Great on salads with lemon juice mixed.

Remember your squash soup recipe   Well, leave off the broth, (steam the squash) and add the curry/onion/celery - Mmmmm nummy! I need to find a way to make vegetable stew - I'm thinking I could just do the "no peek stew recipe  without the meat and use fresh tomatoes, onions, green peps instead of the canned stewed tomatoes.
 thanks so much....

I still get amazed at the different and varied healing's that take place when undertaking Daniels diet - weight loss just being one of the wonderful things that happen.

be blessed

Philip

How to Survive This Century

Hello

If you are not familiar with Psalm 91 - then i suggest you read it, as it is a Biblical strength for us & very appropriate as you will see when you read this blog. This blog is to empower you to live a long and healthy life ( not to sow anxiety about bugs).

There is a "Super Bug" that is manifesting world wide.

This bug is resistant to virtually all antibiotics, including the antibiotics used by doctors as a last-chance option. They can even transfer their invincibility to other bacteria. This “super bug” is constantly adapting, meaning it is capable of outsmarting even new antibiotics that come on the market. This type of super bug bug is found mostly in hospitals and nursing homes at the moment -  however- it is currently being found out in communities. It is known as Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)

Some statistics i have seen rate it as killing more people than the AIDS virus.

Antibiotic-resistant disease is a very real and serious issue and one we should be aware of and put preventative measures into our lifestyle. Just last month alone (in my clinic)  i have had 3 people (one in early 20's and one in early 50's another 60's) who went into hospital for routine surgery and next minute find themselves literally fighting for there lives because they have picked up a antibiotic resistant 'bug'. ( They all survived after lots of treatments, both medically and herbal'y and prayer).

It is a Man-Made Plague/pestilence

Strangely enough the Antibiotic-resistant disease is a man-made pestilence, caused by overuse of antibiotics.

It is not merely a lack of hygiene or proper disinfection techniques that have brought these super bugs to the point of being so dangerous.
What the problem is - is that in modern times we over use antibiotics to the stage where it compromises our health. Even people who don't use them can get it with out knowing from our food.
Antibiotics are not only over-prescribed in modern medicine, they are also widely over-used in agriculture -- a fact that is grossly overlooked.
About 70 percent of antibiotic use in the United States is for agricultural purposes. Animals are often fed antibiotics at low doses for disease prevention and growth promotion, and those antibiotics are transferred to you via meat and even manure used for fertilizer.
So, the agriculture industry’s practice of using antibiotics, along with the overuse of antibiotics for medicine, is indeed a driving force behind the development of antibiotic resistance in a now wide variety of bacteria that cause human disease -- including MRSA.

God has a Protective Health Plan - but do we know it and follow it?

First everyone needs to take the issue of antibiotic use seriously. We all need to evaluate our own use of antibiotics, and avoid taking them -- or giving them to your children -- unless absolutely necessary. For a start antibiotics don't kill virus germs so why use them for colds and flu's (unless there are complications). In other words the less you take in the long term the better off you are.

You can also reduce your exposure to antibiotics by choosing organic meat and dairy products for your family, as these will be antibiotic-free.

Wisdom for Health:

1. Wash Your Hands

According to a Johns Hopkins study, the best way for patients to avoid such infections is for doctors and nurses to simply wash their hands before touching a patient.

At home use a mild soap like Dove or herbal soaps. Avoid all antibacterial soaps as they typically have a dangerous chemical called triclosan which can cause even more resistant bacteria. Antibacterial agents are not necessary for soap to work. The very fact that regular soap is a detergent will be more than adequate to sanitize your hands.

• In public places i always use a paper towel to open the door as a protection from germs that harbor on handles (yuk). Also place paper over the toilet seat before sitting.

Don’t overdo washing your hands,  if you wash them too frequently you can actually extract many of the protective oils in your skin.

2. Use Natural Disinfectants

Antibacterial house cleaners are also best avoided most of the time- I use vinegar and if i think an area need extra attention i will use a few drops of Tea Tree oil.

Keep a Strong Immune System.

1. Keep healthy - read my books ie. 'Daniels Diet' series.
2. Herbs - Echinacea, Andrographis, Olive leaf extract, Vitamin C
3. Get lots of Sleep and exercise
4. Probiotics ( good gut flora)
5. Eat lots of fresh Garlic. Pre antibiotic days - Dr's used garlic as an antibiotic.
6. Get a hair tissue analysis - to see what deficiencies and imbalances you may have.

 Faith/Prayer and Spiritual Protection.

“Psalm 91” takes a comprehensive look at the only place in the Bible where all of the protection promises are brought together into one collection.

Psalm 91

New International Version (NIV)

Psalm 91

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
Surely he will save you
    from the fowler’s snare
    and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;

blessings
Philip

7 Secrets to Losing Weight

Today's Sunday Times newspaper states that 50% of West Australians are overweight!

The national average is 40%, (we are equal with the USA and in the top 3 ' fattest' nations in the world).

What is happening to the thinking and discipline of our younger generations?  Being overweight when you are young is setting yourself up for an unhealthy future, therefore this is a hugely important issue.

Is there a 'spiritual' connection to the health of the world? (I believe there is and this year i will write a book on ; "Knowing Gods Health Plan"). Also its been on my heart for years to write a book revealing the 'Evil' in our World Health (Unhealthy)System.  So keep an eye out for these 2 new books later on in the year.

My calling in life is to help people with their health and being overweight is a big part of our future health, both physically and emotionally. So i am writing today to give you the foundations of losing and keeping weight off.

To beat any fat cells that may be bunching together to form excess fat and cellulite it’s vital that the following seven points are adopted into your regular lifestyle

1.     Eat a diet low in sugar and refined carbohydrate and increase good quality protein.
If you eat less carbohydrate than you require for energy, then your stored fat is burned to provide your body’s energy requirements. This means you should lose weight, because there are only 2 fuel systems your body draws on and you restrict one, which is carbohydrates and your body has to burn the second one (fat) for energy.
Keep in mind that most people eat too much refined carbohydrates in their daily diet and this will lead to obesity over years of eating like this. This is why a lot of people ‘yo- yo’ diet. The minute they finish a (any) diet plan they go back to eating too much carbohydrates, so they put all the weight back on.

The modern diet is full of sugar. Food such as starchy, highly processed bread, packet cereal, white flour products, cakes, biscuits, ice cream, pastry, pasta, white rice, fast foods, don’t forget alcohol and sugary products such as soft drinks, cordials and reconstituted fruit juices are all quickly converted by your body into glucose. High amounts of glucose will cause the release of high amounts of insulin, encouraging your body to store carbohydrates as fat and stop fat being used as energy (therefore increasing weight gain)

Protein should be increased in your diet and is found in legumes and pulses, brown rice, almonds, pistachios, walnuts, Brazil nuts, split peas, chick peas, lentils, and the bean family. Also - fish (with scales), lean meats, tofu, soy, goat milk, cottage cheese and yogurt etc.

2.     Drink two litres of water a day.
The average body loses about 2 litres of water each day through normal elimination and perspiration/evaporation. This must be replenished daily. This means water only, not counting your cups of tea or juices. When enough water travels through the blood, it reaches the fat cells, lubricates the area and starts to help the cells unglue, flushing them back into the body’s elimination system. By exercising at the same time the body is able to burn up the released fat as energy. These two lifestyle habits, together with regular bowel movements, enable the body to eliminate all the excess fat and waste. This is the way to win the war against the bulge and toxic overload.

3.     Maintain regular bowel movements.
This should be approximately two eliminations per day.

4.     Don’t eat late at night.
An evening meal should be light on the stomach and containing no carbohydrates. Avoid late evening snacks. If you do have to eat late make sure it’s non-fattening foods and definitely not carbohydrate or sugar. Don't continually snack or graze during the day and evening.

5.     Don’t overeat.
The original reason for weight gain is still valid. If more food is eaten than burned off, you have to gain weight – it’s a physical and mathematical law. Eat Less Not More!

6.     Exercise.
There are no short cuts. No one can do it for you, and it must be done, so decide to get in the habit regularly and enjoy it. If you exercise before a meal this will give your body the opportunity to burn the stored fat as well and help you lose weight. Once you are in a regular routine in exercise it does become enjoyable. The hard part is getting to the regular stage, slowly but surely you can.

7.     Learn to say “no” to temptation and “stop” when feeling full.
This is something we all can work on. It’s a fact that when society cuts down on the amount we eat not only is weight lost but disease is noticeably lessened.

Summary: The truth is that anyone overweight is doing damage to his or her body. Every part of their body has to work harder to maintain the extra kilos. This means that eventually some parts are at risk of wearing out or developing complications. So, if you are overweight, sick in any way or just want to remain healthy - for the sake of your body, lifestyle changes have to happen. I know that you will not be disappointed and your body will thank you.

Cheers
